You Came West...Now See It!

        The Oatman Stables Cookout location is the destination for everything from the sunset steak dinner ride to the Group BBQ's. It's also a great location for weddings, which we can help put on. The site is an old mining claim called The Starlight Mining Claim hence the name it carries now "The Starlight." The name is very fitting, for our overnighters catch the best view one can possibly imagine from this spot. "The Starlight" is secluded and sits on private property. There is an awesome view on all sides of the valley and surrounding Black Mountains, especially during sunset.

        "The Starlight" is starting to take on the appearance of an old western town, but we still have a few additions to make. At this time "The Starlight" boasts the best outhouse you've ever used, guaranteed. Don't worry we don't just say that because it's everyone's first outhouse visit! There is one building that consists of a kitchen and extra room for other activities. This building also has a deck that looks down on the valley. There is a rail steer pen , the destination at the end of the cattle drives. We have plenty of room to accommodate large groups. There is no electricity at "The Starlight," but we do have a set-up for hot and cold running water. The newest addition is our overnight cabin. It's 16' by 24' of open space with plenty of windows, and a huge multi-leveled deck with gorgeous views. So there is plenty of room for indoor or outdoor camping. Everything is topped off with a bonfire. The next step is a boardwalk guests can use to reach any particular spot at "The Starlight," so hope you can make it up to see it soon.
